Fifteen places, chosen carefully.
Travel Gemz exists because most travel sites cover too much ground to say anything useful about any of it.
Why fifteen, not four hundred
A gem isn’t valuable because it’s the biggest stone in the case — it’s the one cut and set with care. We hold every destination on this site to that standard. Each place here was picked for a specific reason: a coastline, a dish, a season, a feeling you can’t quite get anywhere else.
That means saying no to a lot of places that would be perfectly nice to write about. We’d rather add the fifteenth destination only once we can do it justice than pad the list to look more comprehensive than we are.
How a guide gets written
Every destination page starts from time actually spent on the ground — where to eat, what to skip, which viewpoint is worth the early alarm. We update guides as things change, and we’d rather leave a place off the site than publish a guide we haven’t kept current.
What we’re building toward
More regions, slowly
Each new destination goes through the same bar the first fifteen did — no filler additions just to grow the count.
Deeper guides, not just more of them
Itineraries, neighborhood breakdowns, and seasonal notes are getting added to existing destinations over time.
One place for the whole trip
Inspiration, itineraries, and things-to-do guides living together, so you’re not planning across ten open tabs.
